Crisp Spring Morning
Give me cold over wet any day when it comes to the weather. You'll have heard me plenty of times at this stage waxing lyrical about the wet weather that is so prevalent on Ireland's West coast. To be fair you get used to it, but it certainly does rain a lot here.
There wasn't a droping of rain a few mornings back when I took these shots however. The sun was getting ready to make it's ascent, the birds were chirping and the cool spring air was rich as I breathed it in deeply and mindfully.
There was a film of frost on these stones, but no frost on my trampoline. Why so? Well that's because storm Éowyn goosed it and it's in the bin.
Goosed.
Such a Galway word. I'm not sure if other counties use the word or other countries? It's another word for destroyed or trouble or write-off.
Alas I digress. Back to the frosty morning.
I love the colourscape of the morning sky on clear mornings like this. Birds fly by blissfully and without a worry in the world. Humankind's imitation the aeroplane can be seen even higher in the morning sky.
Would we have aeroplanes if birds and flying insects did not exist? I have my doubts...
Nature teaches us so much.
We must be mindful though.
Pay attention.
Learn from nature.
Learn from our elders who've seen it all before.
Learn to slow down.
Learn to just be.
A satellite....
If makes me think of this song...
A band I loved in my teenage years...
I still enjoy listening to them every now and then...
Maybe that's my Three Tune Tuesday shout for tomorrow?? 🤔🤔
These photos are all my own taken on my Samsung Smartphone.
Thanks as always for stopping by everyone
Peace Out
