Something from the supermarket
I love the days when my wife arrives home with the grocery shopping and she includes a few surprise IPAs. Well, that happened this week, and she arrived home with four of these bad boys.
Now, let's call a spade a spade. This is no world beater of an IPA, but it was drinkable and I have not had many IPAs of late, so the sweet hoppiness really did the trick.
The weather is starting to get that bit colder now, and I will probably switch back to Guinness soon, but for now I will enjoy a few more weeks of nice refreshing IPAs to quench my weekend thirst.
Above is a photo of the Paddle Citra single hop IPA sat on top of my solid fuel burning range. This range has not been on since April, but those evenings are starting to get that little bit colder, so it won't be long now until this range is on the go again.
Here is a look at the can art on the side of the can too, again nothing to write home about. Pretty dull and unexciting, but alas, you've got to try things to see if they are nice or not.
