Hello friends and Hivians. I hope all is well. First off, I want to share my 2nd Hive Birthday with you. I'll talk a bit about why Im happy to be on this platform. Also I would like to talk about some goals and other things I want to accomplish moving forward..
So I officially became 2 years old on Hive on 3 February. It has gone by so quickly, but at the same time, I feel I've been here awhile. I have also decided to brush my profile up a little bit. I'm sure quite a few of you have gotten to use to seeing me with shades on while holding a fish. Keep in mind, I have no plans of limiting myself to a good time going fishing. I just felt it was time to update it, plus it gives you a more updated photo of myself 😃
So why am I happy to be part of the Hive family? The number one thing is I have made a lot of connections and have had fun doing it. I could list all the users that have had a good impact on me, but I don't wish to spam them all. Just know if we have been in communications back and forth, you're likely one of them. There have been way more positive things that have happened here than negatives. Hive really is a content creators paradise!
Of course, another reason is gaining hive and building hive power. I love how it's simple to do by writing posts and accumulating curation rewards. I remember first starting out hearing the bigger HP you have the quicker you grow. Being here two years building HP, I definitely see the difference in curation rewards. It's important to grow so we all can have benefits.
Back a month or so, I invested some of my own funds into Hive. I used a majority of it and put it into HBD savings. At 15% interest, it's a good way to build up some funds. It's a sure thing right now and I think it is an incredible benefit to Hive. I just completed doing my taxes for 2024 and I was pleasantly surprised that I will be getting some decent refunds back. So once again, when I receive these funds, I will be investing more funds into Hive. The big thought is turning some of that HBD into Hive when the price is right.
I have a few goals I want to check off. Rather than put a completion date on them, I will just keep after them. One of them is growing the two communties I have created. I know I have to give more attention to the Ice Cream Creations Community. It's been a great while since I have posted there. For my other community, I need to continue as I have not only posting in it but reading & commenting on those articles that have the museum tag. Of course, the main focus is getting more people to post in them. The Mueseum Community has done surprisingly well, and I think it will keep growing. I believe it will have at least 100 subscribers soon.I have to mention a community can't get off the ground unless your friends and followers take a liking to it. I'm very thankful for those individuals who have posted in my communities. They are a huge part in making it grow.
A second goal of mine is my Hive Power. The "Eye on the prize" target for me next is 10K HP. I definitely will be above that before years end. The last couple of months, I haven't been creating content as much as I would like. I do want to be more consistent doing that. Another thing I hope I can achieve is getting back on The Hive Power Up Month (HPUM) list. Powering up Hive on a daily basis is a great way to build your hive power. So far this month, I haven't missed a day!
Another year stacked up here on Hive Block Chain! I look forward to many more and will continue my growth here. I hope to see many of you around as well.
Take care, stay safe and happy Wednesday! Until next time!!
