Hello friends @sketch community, it's your humbled girl @happy080. I am here again with yet another piece of my work, I am still open for improvement wherever and however necessary.
It has been a while since my last sketch,I have been really busy lately with family stuff and stressed out at the same time but what really got me through all those stress was A REALLY GOOD SINCERE LAUGHTER 🤣
Today I am happy to share with you my #drawing of a classic animated series called: TOM AND JERRY
Tom the cat is the antagonist and Jerry the house mouse is the protagonist.
This animated series has existed for years and it is still trending today.I was sitted with my son while he was watching his cartoon, all of a sudden he changed the channel and decided to watch Tom and Jerry, immediately he started laughing, I got interested and started watching as well, the humor was just too intense, that i joined him in the laughter,Tom and Jerry's physical comedy routines and funny escapades is really out of these world( so to speak),I really had a very good sincere laugh,I was grateful to my son for tuning in that channel,as if he knew i really needed that humor to free myself from stress.
People enjoy these same animated series because of its timeless humor, the antics of Tom and Jerry filled with chases, tricks and exaggerated reactions, relates and connects to audience of all ages.
LESSON FROM TOM AND JERRY :
•Don't underestimate small things, they can actually achieve great things (Wonderful things)that big things can not achieve.
•Approach each day with a sense of humor and to live cheerfully because Life is to short to stay angry, and keep grudges and to hate or jealous anyone.Happiness is free, so share it.
MY HUMBLED TECHNIQUE
Already having my drawing lead handy, I approached to the head of Tom with light sketches at first, carving every parts of his sense organs, then I proceeded to his neck, drawing the lines from his chin to his shoulders then I carved out the heart shaped image on his chest, haven done that, I proceeded to his hands, where i sketched it open for the little Jerry to fit in.
Then I highlighted the lines of my sketches with the touch of pencil colours and...TARAA, my drawing is ready.
ITEMS I USED FOR MY SKETCHING
•Soft Hb lead for drawing
•A4 plain sheet
•Various pencil colors
