Morning blues at the port
Good Morning and have a great day
as those that have followed me for a while know I do love my early morning walks, and hopefully very soon its is going to be warm enough me me to be heading out early for them again soon, over winter its just been to cold for me at that time of day tobe out and about
I love the amazing blues one gets to see during the blue hour before sunrise
now some may not know what the blue hour is so let me explain
During the blue "hour", red light passes through space while blue light is scattered in the atmosphere, and thus reaches Earth's surface., and hence why the skies look so blue at that time,
Now its called the Blue hour but it does not neccessarily last that long, on can last between about 20–96 minutes right after sunset and right before sunrise. Time of year, location, and air quality all have an influence on the exact time and length of the blue hour
and one spot I love walkign around and gettign shots of during the blue hour is the port here in new Bedford MA
On a still mornign without much wind, with a long exposure you can catch some cool reflections

and I'm not sure why but for me, the commercial fishing boats just look more rugged at this time

Some more of the fishing boats, I have respect for those what work on them, each year it seems during to accidents or bad conditions I hear of fatalities on the commercial fishing boats, and aside from that just working on these boats out in the ocean is without a doubt such physically demanding work
