This post is a shout out to anyone on STEEM with an interest in growth and development of the opportunities on the STEEM blockchain.

It is an App that has the potential to bring in many new steemians, expanding the blockchain usage and benefiting all of us.
The tokens are being sold to us Steemians at a solid discount to upcoming IEO pricing and even if you don't intend to HODL long term, a short holding for a couple of months should still be profitable, and will have many other side benefits.
So, even if you don't personally use it, investing in AFIT is an investment in the growth of STEEM.
Proof of concept for STEEM Engine.
The token platform has the potential to contribute massively to the growth of STEEM. It needs viable, long term tokens backed by real businesses and liquidity. As a kickstarter style of fundraiser, the platform has great appeal. Projects like Actifit using it as a first port of call is a test run. A successful ISO for AFIT will be a great marketing tool to boost the site, and STEEM overall. I know that @aggroed and the @steem-eng team have ambitious plans around security token offers. This sale is the first public "proof of concept" that the platform can be used to raise funds for a project. In my opinion, all AFIT being sold would be what I would call successful outcome.
A purchase of AFIT in this offer will assist in proving the case for STO opportunities and that they can successfully raise money on STEEM.
Proof of the STEEM blockchain.
STEEM needs a win in my opinion. Those of us here know how much is going on here and how much potential exists on this chain. However, the price is still floundering and while many of us think STEEM should be higher up the coin rankings, the market currently disagrees. A success in this offering could be another boost to our image, and show to the broader crypto market that STEEM is a great place to start and build a business. It is a place where developers and entrepreneurs can build a product, and raise funds, and find a solid community to support their venture.
An AFIT purchase this weekend will showcase the STEEM eco-system to outsiders.
In summary, I strongly believe that buying AFIT tokens through the STEEM ENGINE site during the ISO period is not just an investment in @actifit, it is also contributing to many different areas:
