RE: Beautiful Sunday in the Garden of Life

in #beautifulsunday5 years ago

Well, I love it so much, @ace108 I make the time. I will give up a little bit of sleep to spend time with nature. I am of the opinion that we much have more to life than work, otherwise, what is the point?

I hope you are having a wonderful week !!

Happy #BeautifulSunday! On Monday! :)

The point is you have work and I am still trying to find work but I still have a busy month with the home renovation finishing (lots of cleaning up) and practicing for pickleball competition I am participating early next month.
Have a good week.

I guess I didn't realize you hadn't found work yet. I am sorry to hear that. Oh, yes! The home renovations always take so much time and now you will have to tell me what pickleball is!

It's a long journey. Jobs are hard to come by especially if you are older. I heard it's the same in USA.
Wiki has a good write out on pickleball including history from summer of 1965 on Bainbridge Island, Washington,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pickleball
But this youtube video gives a good overview:

Pickleball
Pickleball is a paddleball sport (similar to a racquet sport) that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a Wiffle Ball, over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports, the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules somewhat similar to tennis, with several modifications. Pickleball was invented in the mid 1960s as a children's backyard game.

Aha! I had no idea you were older - but, age is relative. What I find old, you may not. :)
