I know so many people that wouldn't look at 10c lying on the floor. Most people wouldn't leave the house for less than 20 bucks anymore so they wouldn't do much for actual cents.
It mystifies me. All cents add up to dollars and dollars add up to millions over time. If you throw away the dollars and cents then you will never see millions in your lifetime.
Crypto is a great place to see this in real time. If you are involved in hive for a period of time then you will inevitably see small amount of hive and layer two tokens drifting into your accounts.
It's the nature of the game and how you can build your account up over time. My account receives curation and creation rewards but also tips, dividends and hive engine tokens.
Having crypto staked leads to more crypto. Over the years it keeps building up and leads you to new projects and ideas. It's how I got involved in multiple eco-systems, games like splinterlands and some tokens on solana.
I just sold my JUP airdrop for 650 hive on binance which is now staked there and earning 40% APR.
The interest is nice and with the recent price pump on the exchange is paying out almost 60 Hive per day right now. those are a little more than pennies.
Earning is no good without saving.
If you want funds to stack then you need to keep them whole.
Too many people spend money as soon as they get it instead of adding to the main stack for future earnings. It's only when it gets big that it will really have an effect on your earnings.
To me that means simple things like bringing my own lunch to work. Not bothering with takeout coffees and making clothes last instead of stocking my house full of crap.
Simple things but they all help.
I could go further if needed and cut out all the fun parts of my life but then what's the point in living. It more about knowing what's important and what's not.
Then you can live a full life without the waste. The hope is that in time it will lead to financial freedom and the ability to live life on my own terms rather than needing to work for anybody else.
