Stakeholders are most important in this system?
Ehhh what system? We are totally not decentralized.
Official Results Of The Foundation Structure Election - "The Merger" show 217 votes out of how many registered users? 1.xx million?
These 217 are the so-called Stakeholders?
Wolfie, you are doing a great job on the steem blockchain, I mostly agree with your way of looking at things. But I am afraid, we are lost in wishful thinking.
The steem blockchain is just a money-grab for the early birds. The late-comers already left the building.
The more steempower is powered down and vests are destroyed, the higher the Steem/Mvest ratio will become and STEEM is heading to zero and going bust... Steemit Inc. knows this, they are just buying time and milking this cow until their udders are emptied after which they will close shop also.
You can ask new users and investors to powerup, but the only mechanism they support doing that gives our early birds the incentive and the possibility to powerdown even more.
The whole reward model is built around this milking mechanism. You earn author and curation rewards in steempower which makes it possible for steemit inc. to maintain their auto selling program.
We are slowly coming at the end of the road, as Dan some days ago wrote:
"Steemit Inc. is running out of time"
PS: I wish the steem community could rescue and maintain the steem blockchain.
The biggest problem we have right now is that there is not a common view of what Steem is and what it isn't.
Agreed, and let that be a problem that can not and will not be solved by us the community.
