Well, I apparently didn't get to this yesterday. I will probably barely get to it today. However, I'm not going to let 2019 go without commenting on the last EL post of the year. :)

Thanks for another year of the Engagement League. Very much appreciated, and very much needed on STEEM. I'm not sure who's doing all the commenting, but I suspect that it's more automated now then ever, as manual commenting hasn't been the same for a long time, and in particular since the latest hardfork.

So, thank you, even with all you have going on (and with all you would probably like to have going on more), for helping us remember that a social platform isn't very social if people don't engage.

Congratulations to all those who made the list at least once sometime in 2019. May we all find ourselves on the list more.

Actually, if the SQL connection allows, I'm going to run the yearly stats for all the entrants to see who's been keeping the blockchain alive in the commentary.

Congratulations everyone, I hope you all had a nice holiday season. Looks like a little bit of a slow down. I know time was pressed for some, but still it looks like we all wanted to at least get on long enough to pass some holiday voting cheer around.

An ultimate EL league for 2019 would be interesting but I think the database owner would not be happy if compiled the year - the query is 7/8 minutes for a week and could clog the DB up for a full years worth!

Brexit has been a wonderful experience for everyone involved in the UK and I think I speak for the nation when I say we hope they find a way to make it last another 3.5 years, perhaps longer 😀

A short train ride. The whole country can be toured in a fraction of the time compared to one state where I’m from. California, for example, it would take 18 hours just to go from one end to the other, whereas we can go from Leeds, to London, to Scotland and back and the sub didn’t even set yet. Haven’t found a sport I don’t like yet.

Well, we’ll be all between those places beginning next week, any day is a good day, we’re going to park there for 90 days—let me know if you want to get coffee and biscuits or something. I mean, I’ll have coffee, you can have a spot’0 tea.
