The German-speaking Unschooling Network on facebook has 5,000 members. It has become known as a network of people who can stand even uncomfortable topics. Because unschooling is uncomfortable in an educational world.

Since 2010 you can find information about regular Freilerner-Meetings / unschooler, homeschooler, radical-unschooler and people interested in it, as well as links for personal education (self learners).

Here at Steem we are still dreaming. The role models are @minnowsupport, @familyprotection, @steemmonsters and many, many more, who support their own growing communities with a large amount of Steem Power and Humanpower. #minnowsupport, #familyprotection, #steemmonsters, ...

We now start the tags #freilerner-netzwerk and #de-unschooling.

Ein herzliches Willkommen hier und viel Spaß und viel Erfolg! Wir sind gerade auf Europareise mit unserer 5-jährigen Tochter und kommen dem Thema freilernen so langsam auch etwas näher und freunden uns immer mehr damit an. In dem Netzwerk auf Facebook sind wir glaub ich sogar schon drin. Wir lassen hier auf jeden Fall mal einen Upvote, ein follow und ein resteem da, denn wir denken, dass dieses Thema langsam, aber sicher in der deutschen Gesellschaft ankommen und akzeptiert werden sollte :-) wir werden euch auch mal im deutschen Steem-Marathon erwähnen :-)

Hi, I noticed your upvote on one of my comments. Good to see another unschooling support group. Are there many German unschoolers on Steem? You would be most welcome to come to the discord we've set up: https://discord.gg/Rjdf2uf and I would be more than happy to set up some German channels for you, although you've probably got all that sorted, as you're way ahead of us.

I had heard that homeschooling was actually illegal in Germany. Is this accurate and something you have to work around?

The official FAQ can be found here and has A LOT of information https://steemit.com/faq.html - Also remember, Steemit is just ONE of the sites built that uses Steem the blockchain. You should also check out DTube and DSound for starters and if you're a gamer, Steem Monsters! There are many other cool apps but I can't list them all here, there's just too many! But I'd also like to mention Steempeak, it's a better blogging platform that has a lot of cool features. Welcome to the blockchain! :) Oh, and if you're interested in creating your own tokens or smart contracts, check Steem engine!
