My money's on McIlroy

Literally....

For the first time ever, Rory won twice on the PGA tour before Augusta, once in the Players Championship and once at Pebble Beach.

He has the talent. So many times, he's played himself out of majors in rounds 1 or 2.

This time it's different in my opinion. There are a few reasons.

His game is on form.

He is crushing his drives.

His putter is great, making everything from inside six feet.

But the main reason is his calm demeanor and temperament. I've never seen him as composed and calm at a major Championship. He has taken a leaf out of Scotty Schefler's book in my opinion.

In years gone by the double bogeys on the 15th and 17th holes in round one would have killed his chances.

Not this year, the bounce back was unbelievable and he signed for 66s in both the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

He has been talking a lot with sports psychologist Bob Rotella and its showing, as he is so calm in his demeanor, shots and everything on the golf course.

I could take €216 right now for my €50 bet...

No thanks.

I'll take the lot tonight.

I'm very confident that he gets the job done and becomes only the sixth man in history to win all four golf majors.

The others are

Gene Sarazan
Ben Hogan
Gary Player
Jack Niclaus
Tiger Woods

These guys are some of the best to ever play the game and I believe Rory will join the list. I also believe he will win the Open in Portrush this year.

Only time will tell.

Here is the leaderboard going into the final round.

DeChambeau and Conners are the dangers, but I believe DeChambeau won't shoot better than 68.

A 69 and total of -15 will be enough in my opinion and I reckon that's fhe score McIlroy gets to.

There you have it folks...

McIlroy to win on a score of -15

Thanks as always for stopping by everyone

Peace Out
