Hello everyone in the Sport Talk Social community! Today I join the community for the first time with this post dedicated to the Nevada Golden Knights. A few months ago I had the opportunity to attend one of their games during my visit to the city of Las Vegas. There, for the first time I was able to learn about this sport and this professional Hockey league. And I must say that it was very satisfying as well as unexpected to find that I liked it much more than other types of sports that I have been able to watch. Here I tell you how it all went.
Around November, my brother-in-law came home to tell us that they had given him four tickets to see the Golden Knights against the San Jose Sharks in the front row. It was very exciting because I had never attended a game like this. So, we all prepared for that night; my sister, my brother-in-law, her daughter and me. Before going to the game we went to eat at a Lazy Dog that is near Allegiant Stadium, which is where the game would be played. There was quite a bit of traffic by the time we hit the road but we managed to get there on time. There we tried to find a way to access the positions until we finally sat down.
From start to finish everything was very entertaining because the atmosphere is very dynamic (with the cheerleaders, the cameras playing, the contests and so on) and the sport is quite demanding because I rarely saw the players stop moving. I must be honest in saying that I know nothing about hockey but without knowing it, I felt the emotion of each person cheering for the Golden Knights team. I don't know how to describe it but it was very happy, especially because that night the Golden Knights won the game so you can imagine what all the fuss was like after that. At the end of the game many went to the surrounding area to celebrate. We walked around a few times and returned home. It was a great night and I discovered a new sport that I like. ¡Hola a todos en la comunidad de Sport Talk Social! El día de hoy me uno por primera vez a la comunidad con esta publicación dedicada a los Golden Knights de Nevada. Hace unos meses tuve la oportunidad de asistir a uno de sus juegos durante mí visita por la ciudad de Las Vegas. Allí, por primera vez pude conocer sobre este deporte y está liga profesional de Hockey. Y debo decir que fue muy satisfactorio a la vez de inesperado encontrar que me gustó mucho más que otros tipos de deportes que he podido ver. Aquí les cuento cómo fue todo.
Para más o menos el mes de Noviembre mí cuñado llegó a casa para decirnos que le habían regalado cuatro entradas para ver a los Golden Knights contra San Jose Sharks en primera fila. Era muy emocionante pues yo nunca había asistido a un juego así. Entonces, nos preparamos todos para esa noche; mi hermana, mi cuñado, su hija y yo. Antes de ir al juego pasamos comer a un Lazy Dog que queda cerca del estadío Allegiant, qué es donde se jugaría. Había bastante transito para cuando salimos a la carretera pero logramos llegar a tiempo. Allí intentamos dar con la forma de acceder a los puestos hasta finalmente sentarnos.
De principio a fin todo fue muy entretenido pues el ambiente es muy dinámico (con aquello de las porristas, las cámaras jugando, los concursos y demás) y el deporte es bastante exigente pues pocas veces ví que los jugadores dejarán de moverse. Debo ser sincera al decir que no se nada sobre hockey pero sin saberlo, sentí la emoción de cada persona que alentaba al equipo de los Golden Knights. No sé cómo describirlo pero fue muy alegre, sobre todo porque esa noche los Golden Knights ganaron el partido así que se podrán imaginar cómo fue todo el alboroto luego de eso. Al terminar el juego muchos se iban a los alrededores a celebrar. Nosotros dimos algunas vueltas paseando y volvimos a casa. Fue un a gran noche y conocí un nuevo deporte que me gusta.
