RE: What does Geometry have to do with Football?

in Sports Talk Social10 months ago

Triangles are key to outplay defenders, I play football for over 35 years now, and it may seem simple, but the key is that everyone thinks for the team to make this work. So, in amateur football it is very difficult to implement such strategies, but with a lot of practice and football vista, we sometimes shine like Pep’s teams! 😎

Hmmmm yes that's a good point. Too many players want the glory of scoring the goals instead of concentrating on their role as part of the collective.

The triangles are definitely good for my U11s development though, so I'm going to continue to coach them to find space and always give the man with the ball two passing options.
