RE: It's Never Long Enough

Beautiful words @riverflows, this came straight from the heart and I'm sure it felt good to release it. I've watched my own Mom go through all the phases of grief since my Dad passed in 2020 and it's been a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. Healing happens at its own pace but it's been interesting to watch her bloom into her own person these last few years. I wish your family continued healing!

I'm so glad to hear the story of your Mums becoming. It makes me excited about my own Mum. For now, it's so hard to know she's alone most of the time, missing him. She'll be okay, I know. I guess it's a testament to how much I love her, to worry so.

Thanks for stopping by, I know how busy you get with this challenge and this one wasn't even put out in time!

Yes, the roles reverse and you end up worrying about them like they worried about you when you were younger. Socialization has really helped my Mom, and THC. I so believe in the healing properties of cannabis after seeing how it's helped my Mom. You're welcome! We're in the midst of a move now too so that's why I'm responding less to #memoirmonday posts. I hope you're having a good week.
