Why could you not see your mother for a few years? The kids all moved to Missouri?

Dad had custody and moved us to Missouri, she had remarried and stayed in Florida. I was a couple of months shy of being 15. It was hard being so far apart.
I imagine it would have been! At that age, too. How long were you in Missouri?
