Here is my new art work.
It's an illustrative sketch of an African woman carrying a calabash by her side. It is a tradition and heritage by people from the eastern part of my country. With her necklace, handband dress summing it up.
For the process, I first made my outline sketch with scribbles, then added my first layer which was light, that was followed by the second layer which was darker and finally I blocked in my shadows with another brush which added depth to it. Thereafter, I introduced colors to it.
The sketch was done with AutoDesk sketchbook application and aided with an S-pen. My steps are below:
