Here is my new digital art.
Today, I tried making a still life drawing and this time, I opted for a more composed background.
I placed three object behind each other on a ground - Two empty cans, a bottle and and a power bank.
The belt was a nut to crack during the process.
I started with outline sketches of the objects before using crossing hatching to add shades.
After that, I proceeded in using blurring to add more shades and made one side of the background to look darker.
This is what we call "negative space" in art.
The sketch was done with AutoDesk sketchbook application and aided with an S-pen. My steps can be seen below:
