Oh, no! I just found this out. Was reading the announcements in the server and saw your call for submissions, @jaynie, but I missed it. I wish I had known sooner. @wales was very creative, and I will miss him like I miss a long lost friend.

There are many people on Steem who can write. Some are excellent writers. @wales was extraordinary. I told him several times that he should submit his work for publication, and he always said he wouldn't know how. I didn't realize he'd written 40 books. Not only was he a great writer, but he was also a great photographer. A truly talented man, and I wish I had met him in person.
