This is St. Isaac's Cathedral. In my opinion, this is the most grandiose building in St. Petersburg.
According to the legend of historians, it was initially wooden, rebuilt several times... I don't really trust historians and I'm not entirely sure that it used to be a purely cult/religious building.
From an engineering point of view, a building can be considered as a generator or receiver of energy. What kind of energy? The one that Tesla was interested in. One that does not require wires to transmit over distances. But I may be mistaken :)
