Hello wanderers! It's me Marinel, (minelwanders20) your traveler in Cebu, and will be sharing today a simple recipe and preparations to make a sweet dessert - Mango Float. Preparing different kinds of food is a must during New Year celebrations. This year, I chose to make Mango Float because my mom specifically requested it—she said she’s been craving this dessert. We usually only get to enjoy this on special occasions since making it takes some effort, haha!

I will be preparing a lot of dessert, but I decided to start with this one because it’s quick and easy to make. I know people have their own versions of making this dessert, so I’ll be sharing mine on how I made it. Let’s get started!

“Tasteful desserts are made with simple ingredients and mix it with a whole lot of love.”

Be sure to have everything prepared and ready before you start assembling!

Ingredients you'll need:

- Fresh Ripe Mangoes: The highlight of the dessert. Slice them thinly to get those golden ribbons of sweetness.
- Graham Crackers: The base that gives the dessert its structure.
- All-Purpose Cream: Whipped to soft peaks for that smooth texture.
- Condensed Milk: The perfect companion to sweeten the cream.

“The foundation of any great dish lies in the harmony of its simplest elements.”

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Prepare the Cream Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose cream and condensed milk. Adjust the sweetness to your liking. Mix it lightly until it’s smooth and well-blended.

2. Assemble the Layers
In a rectangular dish, lay down the first layer of graham crackers. Spread just enough amount of the cream mixture on top, then layer with sliced mangoes. Repeat the process until you run out of ingredients, finishing with a slice of mangoes on top for that Instagramable finish effect.

“Life is a lot like a dessert—built layer by layer, with a touch of sweetness in every step.”

3. Chill to Perfection
Cover the dessert and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours, or overnight if possible. This allows the graham crackers to soften as they absorb the cream, resulting in that melt-in-your-mouth magic.

4. Serve and Enjoy
Slice into squares and serve cold. Each bite is a heavenly blend of creamy, fruity, and just a hint of crunch. Super yummy! 👌
