I think when we grow up we consume usually locally produced chocolate and grow accustomed to the taste, so when a different cultures' recipe is used we don't get the initial impression of a good tasting chocolate, but instead a below average tasting chocolate.
At least that has been my experience with chocolates throughout my life.
I haven't tasted the trendy Dubai chocolate myself and I don't think I will too. I realy don't like chocolates with fillings.
