Do you feel underrated?
Curators lately mind KE Ratio (the total earned HP / current HP; the lower the better); and self-voting, which is frowned upon. Consider improving in these parameters.

We need to be careful with this ... the community as a whole has never informed anyone of this requirement, and the idea comes from the mind of a mind who ideates about brutally and cheerfully murdering people who say "nice post."
Everyone is free to have their own criteria for (not) upvoting any content. I don't check the ratio, but some others do, and curating initiatives might have implemented it as one of the parameters to check.
And I understand it - supporting a person who withdraws most of the rewards is hardly the best approach in the long term - you want to build up a community, not a bunch of people who have it as a side hustle, and don't really care.
Your HP is your skin in the game.
You do not need to explain skin in the game to me. I am six years into Hive and a crypto investor beyond it. The point is, no one has ever even explained the rules that this ratio expects people to play by ... or be punished, Krampus style.
There was an account called Plonkety Piano that used to terrorize and mock people with the "wrong KE" until some whales went and killed it -- bigger DV take smaller DV. But I mention murderous ideation and Krampus to purpose ... I looked at who funded and upvoted PP.
That was not the message of my snap, and not even something I'd support.
I only said curators care about the ratio, and if people feel underrated, that might be the reason behind.
I know you intentionally would not support it, but pointing to KE as a legitimate metric without knowing that is what was intended for the people falling to the side of it is not a mistake I wanted you to make.
I did not say it was a legitimate metric.
I merely say curators started taking it into consideration. It was a brief, informative snap. Not preachy or judgemenal, not supporting any side.
Who anybody upvotes is their business, but we need to be very careful what we espouse when literally devilish ideas are in play. As a crypto investor at large, I can tell you: Hive does not need any more bad publicity, and Krampus and Plonkety Piano are THE WORST.
Nice huh!
I am going to buy back some HBD when the price goes up again.
But I'll keep it all on this blockchain.
K stands for Krampus, a demon who beats and eats little children who are bad in his view. Nobody on Hive came here to be under that idea of a measure.
Coefficient, the E for efficient. I wondered about that too, but I chose to focus on the important part...
It IS strange ... I'm telling you ... this is not something to lightly big up ... there are strange people quietly pushing their ideas and expecting that we will not notice the strangeness and frankly the "mini wrongness" -- should be KC, of course, not KE -- of their ideas.
Yes, there are. These are the ones being considered by curators lately though.
Everyone has their own metrics, doesn't they?
Here's one recently published code though: https://ecency.com/hive-163521/@slobberchops/python-libraries-self-vote-checking-the-fast-version
I think it is ok.
But what is the point? What happens if the KE is not good enough? And what is good enough?
And this is what I am telling us .. consenting to be judged by a metric that has not been explained, and no metrics given, by people who play with deceit and demonism of the most abusive kind to try to control people's behavior is not wise.
This one is outstanding :)
It is up to every person what is good enough. Whatever is not good enough would likely not get some upvotes.
