Graduation represent the culmination of a journey and attainment of a goal. It is an exciting period in a person's life and an array of feelings will surface for the graduate.
•The graduation Ceremony is the fact of finishing a degree or other course of study at a university or school, or the ceremony at which you are officially said to have finished.
• It is also necessary to know how graduation is called in English. In English, these are typically embodied in a closed interrogative clause, which uses an interrogative word such as, who, or what. These are also called wh-words, and for this reason open questions may also be called wh-questions.
• Graduation Ceremony has the purpose of or the culmination of their academic journey and marks the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
Graduation Ceremony; the Case study of University of Bamenda in Cameroon.
Graduation Ceremony has as objective to bring family members and close friends to take part in what could be called closure and opening of new chapter in academic.
° A rite of passage, graduation ceremonies allow children and their families to take pride in their personal, academic, and social development while also providing a sense of closure to the current chapter of their educational journey. This was the scenario witnessed at the University of Bamenda, in Cameroon recently. In a graduating ceremony that sent out graduates of different levels of academics witnessed the present of parents, families and friends that came to take part in the graduating ceremony.
° It is very important to graduate for various reasons. Infact having a bachelor's degree opens up rewarding opportunities, that might have otherwise been inaccessible. For example, college or University graduates see job opportunities than non-graduates. A degree enables you to qualify for these additional opportunities and other offers you more flexibility in where you choose to work.
° Graduate education, provides students with more advanced learning in specialized discipline or sub-discipline
° As a graduate student, the primary focus is on academic pursuits and research within a closer field of study, and Cameroon offers such opportunity to graduating students who chose to further their studies in specialized disciplines or related fields. Meanwhile, some graduates feel fully prepared for the job market, while employers with open arms for their expertises.
° During the Graduation Ceremony, the graduands could be easily identified by their attire. Graduation is a celebratory but serious occasion, and you want to show up appropriately attired. That generally means a more polished look. elevated above ordinary streetwear, such as professional or at least business casual pieces - avoiding items like jeans, shorts, and sneakers.
- Academic regalia varies according to the degree conferred and the level of scholarship attained. The"bachelors gown" is a simple robe that covers the entire body. The masters gown has longer closed sleeves.
° Regalia, for graduation refers to your basic cap, gown, and tassels.
° Graduates, during the Graduation Ceremony dressed up in caps and gowns and tassels while faculty wears graduation regalia that signifies their academic standing. When the faculty looks their best and wears correct regalia properly, it adds prestige to the entire commencement ceremony.
