RE: Why Blue Monday is marketing spin and dangerous

in Reflections21 hours ago

I never heard about Blue Monday before you mentioned it! It does look at first sight as one of those "Black Friday", Pre-BF, TechMonday, etc. garbage created by society... The anxiety created by society... I suppose that's the biggest issue when society puts additional pressure, and sometimes even convinces us that we are not OK, that we don't fit in, etc.

It sounds like the old one, "A lie told often enough becomes the truth" is very valid nowadays, especially with all the Internet media influence(r)s... In the end, it doesn't have to be a lie, it can be just an "invention"...

Ya, that's so true actually. Things are propogated and repeated on TV and even more so with these modern day influencers who typically couldn't give a shiny shite about anything other than clicks and revenue.

"A lie told often enough becomes the truth"

Never had this one been truer than in recent years. Are we becoming more stupid as a race? It seems so. Generation TikTok with heads stuck in phones...

Are we becoming more stupid as a race?

I'm afraid we are...
