Hello SplinterFam!
As part of Splinterlands celebrating their 6th anniversary, I thought I would share my time spent in Splinterlands and what my daily grind looks like.
Early Morning Grind
I am an early morning Splinterlands grinder. Checking in on Splinterlands is one of the first tasks that I usually like to do in the morning.
First of all, I log onto my account and check the status of my brawl matches and make sure I have played all my rounds and any new results.
I am usually filling fray 12 in my guild and here it is gold league level caps. I quite enjoy playing this position as it gives some pretty good battles. My deck is normally a gold level deck, although we are all leveling up now with the new game rules.
Hanging out with the Guild
Once I have checked the status of my brawl matches, I then check in our guild discord for any latest news from guild members to keep up to date with the game.
Here I can get the most important latest info first about what is happening in the game and take quick action such as opening reward chests before they got nerfed. Luckily, my guild is dedicated very much to Splinterlands the same as me.
Did I win this match?
I like to also check in on the latest news about card market deals in case there is anything worth snatching up from the market and what cards people are upgrading.
We also have some general crypto market talk and discuss the bull and bear markets to see what is the best way to grow our stack of SPS or DEC.
Card Market Deals
Whilst checking the card market deals, I also like to check my SPS earnings and swap this for DEC so I can add new cards to my collection. Once this is swapped, I can then hunt on Peakmonsters for any cards that I am currently searching for.
After, I can then look in the glint shop and get more merits or soulbound cards. This allows me to then flick through my deck and level up cards that I need.
Probably my favorite Glad card...
Levelling cards up is one of my favorite activities and I won't usually do this each day, perhaps mostly on a Saturday or Sunday morning over a nice hot drink. It is theraputic for me and gives me some mental relief to reduce the number of NFTs on the chain.
Modern Grinding
After all that, or sometimes even whilst doing that, I open a separate browser and start grinding the modern league. Here I try to get up to Gold I or higher at the moment. The glint rewards are not so great, but it is a challenge thing that I would like to push higher in the game.
Even though I am renting 200k SPS to increase my glint earnings, I still dont get very much per match in modern, even with a 20x boost. However, it is more about prestige than earnings for me to play modern.
I grind around 10 matches or so in the morning to try and progress up 1 level if I can. Sometimes I manage to get up 1 level and sometimes my level stays static and I have to come back the next day to try again.
I am enjoying the matches, but usually only have enough time for 10 before I need to get to the fiat mine. From then on my bot takes over in wild once the energy levels rise enough and I start again the next morning.
