Had no clue it's so hard to live in the Netherlands but I guess every country has its pros and cons and not everyone can enjoy a beautiful and easy life. I have a friend living there since he left Romania for studies and never returned. He has more than a decent life.

Oh, that can be true. As always is the case, it will have a lot to do with what kind of job you have and the salary that goes with it. Since we do not fall into a high salary group, but rather the minimum wage that applies here in the Netherlands, we feel the blows of inflation without a salary increase even harder. If your salary is far enough above the minimum, this won't bother you.
