This episode's battle was uncanny!
I brought no tanks to this fight, but I did bring a stunner that would hopefully stay alive during the first round.
For a mere 3 mana cost, Dwarven Wizard has a lot of tanky benefits: 1 armor and 5 health. He also hits very quickly in the Reverse Speed rule!
After losing only his armor when Living Lava attacks him, he proceeds to connect a stunning hit that ensures my entire team stays alive for a round or two, enough to break through enemy ranks using Fire Beetle and Lava.
I knew the enemy would likely use Yodin Zaku since that's the most robust choice considering the rule set and which splinters were available for this match, so I put my best effort into getting my splash damage in round one possible.
It's a very low mana battle for a Yodin Zaku team, so using super smooth mana sustain was a cornerstone of my strategy.
Spirit Hoarder might not have been particularly useful, but it would have healed my backline monsters if things didn't go exactly according to plan.
Gladly, what I was doing worked perfectly.
