Growing vegetables, doing a little every day to keep your mind clear

in HiveGarden4 days ago

Hello friends, today I would like to take you to visit my garden again. I have tried to do a little bit every day to learn about soil, fertilizer, water, plant diseases and weather because all of these are elements that need to be understood in order to be successful in gardening. Today, unfortunately, I was only able to go into the garden for an hour because I had diarrhea. I had to poop several times today. It must have been because of the sweets I bought yesterday and I ate them in the morning with coffee after I came back from the market after dropping off my mother. This made me feel exhausted.

The work I left in the garden is to make a trellis for the long beans I planted to cling to and climb up. I have set up six poles, three on each side, and I have bought a net to stretch instead of using sticks to make a grid because it is easy and not too tiring. But as I said, today I have not stretched the net as I intended to do because I had diarrhea.

In my garden now, there are pumpkins, long beans, basil and coriander that I just planted last week. And there is still a lot of work that I have to do, but I have to do it little by little every day because I cannot do it all day and I have other responsibilities. However, this year I intend to plant all over my area, and some things will have to wait until the rainy season before I can start planting.

Thank you to all my friends who have supported me.

I envy you a lot, in a good way, because you are fulfilling the dream that I have of a lifetime: to have land and cultivate my food, and raise my animals (chickens, pigs, and some fish). You are doing it great, I see that you seem to have YUCA (See Below on pic), which is delicious, easy to grow and feed a lot.

Congratulations, success and get well soon of your diarrhea.

Thank you very much and I hope your dream will come true soon. I'm rooting for you and I believe that you will achieve it.

Good progress on the land. Soon the garden will look very green.

ขอบคุณครับ สำหรับกำลังใจ ถ้าใช้เงินเร็วครับ แต่ตอนนี้ผมทำคนเดียว วันละเล็ก ละน้อย ต้องใช้เวลาอยู่ครับ

It’s better to do a little each day. It’s a slow experiment to learn about these plants. I still had no time to look after my orchids and pot plants! Other things took my time away. Luckily, my gardener is very good with plants. She could sell vegetables such as tomatoes, cabbages, green salad, onions, spring onions, long beans and chilies to the local vendor.
We are waiting for those mangoes to grow bigger. The squirrels are very fast! They eat all the jackfruits and bananas!

มีคนสวนช่วยดูแล เบาแรงไปได้เยอะครับ ดีใจแทนด้วยเลย ที่มีหลายอย่างสามารถให้ผลผลิตแล้ว

The vegetables are planted by the gardener so she could earn some pocket money. So, we have some fresh vegetables during winter months. Bananas would come out in six months. It’s good to have more organic fruits and vegetables, they taste much better than those in markets! The squirrels also like them a lot!

I !HOPE you are feeling better now. That is such a lovely garden. Now I wish I have such a garden too. I will definitely build my kitties their own catio. 😆 Thank you for sharing your garden with us. An advance happy weekend...
