Today I remembered a short film project that is on hold. The story is about a middle-aged woman who goes to the city and lives an odyssey trying to save the day. These photographs remind me a lot of the project because the streets are some of the protagonists, and their inhabitants as well.
As a lover of street photography, one of my goals was and still is to capture urban dynamics taking into account aesthetics, as well as the authenticity of the scenes.
These people did not realize I photographed them, and this has value to me because it is an approach to authenticity, and without that, there is no meaning, no life.

Hoy me acordé de un proyecto de cortometraje que está en pausa. La historia es sobre una mujer de mediana edad que va a la ciudad y vive una odisea tratando de salvar el día. Estas fotografías me recuerdan mucho al proyecto, porque las calles son unas de las protagonistas, y sus habitantes también.
Como amante de la fotografía callejera, uno de mis objetivos fue y es retratar la dinámica urbana tomando en cuenta la estética, y también la autenticidad de las escenas.
Estas personas no se dieron cuenta que las fotografié, y esto para mí tiene valor porque es una aproximación a la autenticidad, y sin eso, no hay sentido, no hay vida.
