When it comes to defense, there is a card in the water deck that is one of my favorites and the one I use the most in battles with high mana available, with the water deck.
Today I will talk about the Kraken card, so join me on this journey of knowledge.

Just looking at The Kraken's stats we can already see how incredible it is, even among the most recent monsters in Splinterlands, few have this amount of life and armor.
Although The Kraken is a great defense, it is also great in attack because it also has a good amount of attack and speed, in addition to one of its abilities that will make it even stronger, this ability is Enrage, but before explaining it I will explain all the abilities that The Kraken has.
The Kraken has 4 abilities in total and they are: Taunt, Demoralize, Enrage and Retaliate.

The Taunt ability makes The Kraken the main target of enemy monsters, if The Kraken is in the first position then it will receive all enemy attacks except monsters that have the Scattershot ability because they attack randomly the targets.

The Demoralize ability makes The Kraken decrease the melee attack of all enemy monsters by -1 while it is in battle. If The Kraken is defeated then the enemy monsters recover the lost melee attack.

The Enrage ability makes The Kraken gain +50% attack and speed while it is not at 100% health.

The Retaliate ability makes The Kraken have a 50% counterattack against a melee attack, so if a monster with melee attack attacks The Kraken, The Kraken will have a 50% chance to retaliate and attack that monster.
This combination of abilities is perfect for a monster like The Kraken, as it is a monster that is not easy to defeat, so the Demoralize ability will remain active for a long time and the Enrage ability is the cherry on the cake because it makes The Kraken even more powerful, increasing its attack and also the chances of dodging attacks since its speed will also increase.
Even though the Kraken is powerful, it can still be defeated in battle easily if it doesn't have some kind of support and for this reason I like to use it with cards that have healing abilities like Tank Heal, this way I can make the Kraken survive longer in battle and become an even more incredible choice.
