Every community have one or two culture that they practice, and we are told that is their way of Life, this way of life is called their culture. As we move from my community to another, one tribe to another tribes we get to find out that there Culture are not the same, although it may have some uniqueness but can never be the same, just like that itunta ibere in Ikwuano local government area, they practice masquerade just like other village in ibere but then their masquerade don't cut goat, like other neighboring villages but they dance and do some unique play during the festival. That is why Culture is the way the people lives their Life.
I'm from a community called mbubo umunna nsulu in isiala ngwa north local government area. This community which is found in ngwa land have a lot of culture that they practice, and for every Culture have a reason behind it. Just like I said before we practice the masquerade festival which is one of the Culture, and the masquerade culture is done once in a year, people gather to witness dance, it is believed that when ever the head of the goat of cut Alot of problems are being cut and the people of the community is cut out of problems. That's why when the reverse become the case, in a situation where the masquerade was not able to cut the neck of the goat at one cut the community people gather to maltreat and beat the masquerade.
Another Culture in my community is the "EKENTA" on the ekenta day women's don't go to farm, they don't go to domestic or farm works, rather they stay at home to take care of their children and husband, they prepare a especially and new meal for the family that very day. Any woman found going to farm works or one who went to farm that very day, are subjected to fine, and she must clear those fine, if not she will be removed from other fellow women activities in the village. Culture is one thing we should know very well, because our culture is our pride. I'm a man of culture, I cherish and value my culture, as a matter of fact, as the royal king of my institution, I will be hosting a cultural day program on 18th of December this Year, where people from different traditions will display their culture.
