Queen Mycelia is one noblewoman that had herself consumed by a colony of fungus. I have for long admired the intricacies and beauty of this particular figure. Just last week, I came across an artistic depiction that gave a royal feel and I pictured Mycelia in it.
It took some time to arrive at the idea and at some point I almost gave up since most of the piece was improvised.
