Hello to everyone in the Worldmappin community! Today I join the community again to bring a compilation of places visited in Las Vegas, which I summarize with several short films united in a single video, which I have left right here. This has a reason and that is to give closure to that trip to Las Vegas, being a way to say goodbye to it and also to share the beauty of the state of Nevada. I have chosen some of the most interesting shots showing the city's landmarks and its interiors. The city is really not as small as it seems, as it has much more to offer than its hotels full of casinos and its apparent misadventures (gambling, money, excess and that kind of clichés).
¡Hola a todos en la comunidad de Worldmappin! El día de hoy me uno nuevamente a la comunidad para traer una recopilación de lugares visitados en Las Vegas, los cuales resumo con varios cortometrajes unidos en un solo vídeo, el cual he dejado aquí mismo. Esto tiene un motivo y es darle cierre a ese viaje a Las Vegas, siendo una forma de despedirme de ello y también compartir la belleza del estado de Nevada. He elegido algunas de las tomas más interesantes donde se muestran lugares emblemáticos de la ciudad y sus interiores. Realmente la ciudad no es tan pequeña cómo parece, pues tiene mucho más que ofrecer que sus hoteles llenos de casinos y sus aparentes desventuras (el juego, el dinero, el exceso y ese tipo de clichés).
Most of the shots have to do with icons of the place, such as the famous Las Vegas sign at the beginning of the video. The "Sphere" building, which is relatively new and is really impressive to see because of its large size and its multiple image changes, second by second, for several hours a day. Fremont Street, with its flashing light-filled signs on almost every corner of its buildings and its large immersive screen (Street Experiences). While other shots in the video were a bit more personal for me as they had a story behind them (a memory). For example, the city streets (which I walked with my sister for days), kids playing hockey (my first hockey game, with the Golden Nights), Madame Tussaud's wax museum (a very fun day with my sister), the Christmas lights switch-on (we went as a family to see a Christmas lights display), etc.
La mayoría de las tomas tienen que ver con íconos del lugar cómo el famoso cartel de Las Vegas que se asoma al inicio del video. El edificio "La esfera", el cual es relativamente nuevo y es realmente impresionante de ver por su gran tamaño y sus múltiples cambios de imágen, segundo a segundo, durante varias horas al dia. La calle Fremont, dónde destellan los carteles llenos de luces en casi cualquier rincón de sus edificios y su gran pantalla inmersiva (Street Experiences). Mientras que otras tomas del vídeo eran un poco más personales para mí pues tenían tras ellas alguna historia vivida (un recuerdo). Por ejemplo, las calles de la ciudad (que recorría con mi hermana durante días), los niños jugando hockey (mi primer juego de hockey, con los Golden Nights), el museo de cera de Madame Tussaud (un día muy divertido con mi hermana), el encendido de las luces de Navidad (fuimos en familia a ver una puesta de luces navideñas), etc.
To tell you the truth, it's strange because I thought I had recorded a lot more videos but just now while I was checking, I realised that there weren't as many videos as I thought (or some of them are just too short). It's a pity because I wanted to show you a little bit more about this visit. I will keep looking. However, the goal remains the same: to tour the city of Las Vegas together. For me, this trip is something I will never forget for many reasons, among them to realise that the world is quite incredible; with different people and cultures that can change you. A decir verdad, es extraño porque creí haber grabado muchísimos más videos pero ahora mismo mientras revisaba, me di cuenta que no habían tantos vídeos como pensaba (o algunos de ellos simplemente tiene muy poca duración). Es una lástima pues deseaba enseñarles un poquito más sobre esta visita. Seguiré buscando. Sin embargo, el objetivo sigue siendo el mismo: recorrer juntos la ciudad de Las Vegas. Para mi este viaje es algo que nunca olvidaré por muchas razones y entre ellas poder darme cuenta que el mundo es bastante increíble; con personas y culturas diferentes que pueden hacerte cambiar.
