Starting line-up

Since the battle was thorns and ranged reflect that meant that there was going to be a lot of magic cards on deck, or so I thought. I went with Contessa to reduce the ranged attack, then doubled up with two magic void and put Legionnaire as my tank to slow them down. I did add a sneak monster to the last position but that was more to fill a spot and avoid their sneak attackers.

First kill..

First kill was a bit embarrassing as they took out my death elemental with the first shot of the match. Lira took the first shot and took the first kill at the same time. It was also one of my magic voids which is not the start that I wanted.

Round three.

By round three the match was still very much in the balance. Four cards apiece but I had poisoned their tank and the fact that they started the line up with three ranged monsters hurt them in the end. With ranged reflect as a ruleset they were always going to go before the end of the battle.

I finished strong with three cards left at the end of the battle. It was all of my magic cards that did the damage in the end as the opponent hadn't put much of a magic defense in place which was the difference.

Always good to get a win in the end and try to move back up to diamond levels where my deck can do real damage.
