I have heard of these mystic potions within the Splinterlands world but I have not (until today) used any. With being gifted (Thanks @clove71) an UNTAMED pack yesterday due to a discord contest I figured today is the day I give those potions a try.
Looking at my untamed BOOSTER holdings I remember that I had been gifted a pack some weeks back from @carrieallen (Thanks) as a gift for a post of mine she liked. So today I will be opening both those gifted packs but first I need to get some potions.
The Legendary Potion was only 40 DEC for each charge. The Alchemy Potion was only 50 DEC for each charge. A charge represents the potion being applied to one card so if you are opening a booster pack with 5 cards in them you would need 5 charges for the potion to work on all 5 cards.
The Legendary Potion doubles our chance at flipping over a Legendary Splinterlands card. The Alchemy Potion doubles the chance at flipping over a Gold Card. These will be the first UNTAMED boosters I opened since the edition was introduced.
The packs and potions did not disappoint as you can see I hit the gold card GOBLIN THIEF in which is a sneak attack monster for the Earth Splinter. I also managed to flip the Death Summoner CONTESSA L'AMENT. Death just happens to be my favorite Splinter so hitting a Death Summoner in one Booster Pack and a gold Sneak in another made for two very awesome pack openings.
