Haven't posted anything new here in more than a week and I miss it terribly, I tried to upload a video through ecency yesterday but my terrible network didn't let me, I'll try again some other time. I started a new sketchbook today, I really looked forward to using this one but I ended up not liking the texture, it felt very soft and different from the usual, maybe because its my first time using something like that. I hope I get used to it soon because I really struggled with filling up the first page.
I wanted my first drawing to be on the outer covers since it's all black, I still intend to paint it and I'll definitely share when I do that. I also practiced braids on this page using some tips I got on tiktok, I'll share that too because it was very helpful and easy.
I got gifted some crayola coloured pencils, although they are not very pigmented but they are very much better than the ones I have. I've always wanted my sketchbook to have a bit of colour so I tried painting an orange 🍊
