Hello to all lovers of online art and of all the ways that it is manifested and shared, ^ _ ^
If it feels weird that I publish often, I hope I am not breaking the natural order of things or reality itself because it occurred to Inu-Jim to publish 2 days in a row XD, while I was busy doing the crafts for my cousin I could not neglect my I work and make the corresponding guides for my students, if I had internet in my house I would share them with you from the first day they were ready.
The theme of this is related to the last guide I deal with trees, and it is about drawing the flowers, specifically four types of flowers, The rose, the water lily, the common lily and the sunflower, which are the best known flowers and used in the illustrations, however knowing how to draw these flowers and how they are structured, with sufficient observation you can draw any type of existing flower.
Pencil sketch of my guide
This sketch emerged during explaining the class, while giving him ideas on how to use the rose creatively, I liked the idea so much that I decided to modify the guide, to include it.
The rose from above (overhead view)
The rose is the most known and popular flower of all, and drawing it is relatively simple, when drawing it from an aerial view, you just have to visualize it as a spiral, starting from a compact group of central petals to which we will surround with several layers of increasingly open and large petals.
The petals
The petals should be drawn gently because they should look delicate and soft with their upper edge showing a slight fall.
The rose in side view
When drawing from a lateral angle, the same method of visualizing it is followed in a spiral way, only this time the spiral will have an oval shape and its center will move slightly to the side depending on the level of the observer's eyes, in addition it should be Change the shape of the petals.
The closed rose
The open rose
The Stylized Rose (Cartoon Style)
A rose drawn in a stylized manner reduces the amount of its petals, but these are made much larger and more striking.
The water lily (Lotus flower)
To draw a water lily, it must be associated with a star-shaped five-pointed shape at the beginning, each petal must have a very elongated drop shape, with curved points inward, forming a concave space around the pistils, this shape will be they add two more layers of petals, which extend as they move away from the center.
Lily flower
For a common lily it is only due to the less elongated petals, following the same starry shape of the water lily, but this will only be a single layer of five petals.
The Sunflower
This flower is the simplest because it is a representation of the sun (hence its name), it consists of drawing a large circle surrounded by two layers of abundant petals, each of these very elongated, like large points.
