As a fiber optics specialist one of the things we have to do on site is to prepare a splitter box, splitter boxes comes in different different sizes and types, depending on the number of ONU's that can be connected. On this very day it was just a passthrough splitter box that I prepared. Passthrough are actually a type of splitter box that only accommodate cascaded cores. A cascaded core is just like a joint between two end points. My next post will be on the steps and how this can be achieved in a more simpler way.
