Here is my new digital art.
Today, I tried making a still life drawing and this time, I opted for a more realistic work in a black and white format.
I was thinking of what to sketch them the idea of sketching these two objects together came up - a soap dish and a small rubber paint - both with cover. It was more like a composition.
Firstly, I placed them on a ground close to each other and observe the angle of the light. I noticed it was coming from my opposite direction or a bit diagonal while their shadows were casted on that ground.
I started with outline sketches of the objects before using crossing hatching and scribbles to add shades.
After that, I proceeded in using blurring to add more shades which added depth to it.
The sketch was done with AutoDesk sketchbook application and aided with an S-pen. My steps can be seen below:
