Amsterdam Pints for Beer Saturday

Amsterdam

I work in Tech and so I travel to Amsterdam almost every year for tech meetings, seminars, summits etc. It's a funky city and I've been there on a stag, with my wife and then a bunch of times with work. I reckon I've been around ten times at this stage.

Each of these trips is different in its own way. It is a city that caters for everyone though and there's a bunch of stuff to do.

Today's Beer Saturday will be about my night out in Amsterdam last Wednesday after our Tech Summit.

Our hosts arranged a really good boat trip for us after the Summit, with great food and beer, which went down really well.

Here are a few shots from out on the water near Aalsmeer where we went on the boat.

We had a great time on the boat catching up with all our colleagues and the beers flowed nicely. We got back off the boat around 10pm and lots of those living in Amsterdam called it a night, but four of us kept the flag flying for another few hours! Yep, it was officially Pint O'Clock...

Heineken and Amstel were the brews of choice and they hit the spot nicely.

This bar surprisingly called last orders at around 1230am, so we had to find a late bar, which we managed to find and kept boozing for another couple of hours.

It was a great little trip as always and I arrived home with some tulip bulbs for the wife, so she was happy out.

Both the boat trip and late-night bar hopping sound like the perfect way to relax after a busy summit. Cheers to making great memories with colleagues brother !BEER

Ya it was great to unwind and the two English lads were great craic, and had a good laugh with them in the city centre.

So happy for you brother
