The Local
Nothing like a few creamy pints of the black stuff at the local.
I got down there for a few pints with a few friends of mine last night.
Simple pub.
Great conversation.
Excellent Guinness.
4 Pints.
A perfect night.
The conversation meandered through the evening. Talk of days gone by and plans for the future. We reminisced about trips away over the years, talked about Galway GAA and Galway United and the state of the nation.
The posters on the wall were discussed and the craic was mighty.
Stopping at 4 pints was a great decision, so no hangover today.
Quick cup of Coffee and then a weekend of brining my sons to sport. I coach the U9s and U12s teams that my boys play for.
We are bringing the U9s down to Bunratty today for a Blitz with teams down from Shamrock Rovers and Bohemians. It'll be really interesting to see how our boys faor out, as these are two of the biggest clubs in Ireland.
