Laughter rings as we run outside.
Barefoot dashes through the grass,
Chasing dreams that never pass.
Paper boats on dancing streams,
Building castles out of dreams.
Sweet embrace of the summer air,
Fireflies flicker everywhere.
Secret forts and whispered schemes,
There is magic laced in childhood dreams.
No heavy thoughts, no weight to bear,
Just love and joy beyond compare.
A time so fleeting, bright, and true,
Childhood days, we cherish you.
Oh, let me hold this joy so tight,
A memory bathed in golden light.
Though years may pass, I’ll always know,
Childhood’s magic still will glow.
