And the winner is...
Welcome welcome Three Tune Tuesday readers and contributors, it is that time of the week when I give out the prize for the week, that being a 10% share of last week's Three Tune Tuesday post in the form of SBI shares and I usually round it way up to 1 SBI because I like you lot! Better than the share in SBI though is the Title of Three Tune Tuner of the week, a title that is worn with pride. Some of you may have seen the Oscars a few weeks back and saw Will Smith getting all hot under the collar, well it turns out that Chris Rock won my Three Tune Tuesday that week and although Will's Big Willie Style got an honourable mention, Chris took the prize and Smith was not one bit happy about it, let me tell you. I have actually barred both Will and Chris for their antics, so let me see no such behaviour out of the rest ye!
Right, Ok, now for the benefit of new readers, every Tuesday I pick three songs, sometimes all three from the same artist, sometimes three tunes from a particular genre, other times three songs from a certain country - you get the idea. I've always asked others to get involved and over the past few weeks, that is exactly what's happened and we now have some ThreeTune regulars which is fantastic! The ask is to basically choose three songs to share. You can sing them or hum them or just pick three from an artist you love like I do, which is what most people do each week.
Here is a link to last week's post - at the end I said that I would pick someone who shared some decent tunes and give them a share in Hive basic income courtesy of me. Once again, we had some top class entries and new songs for our collective ears, which is class.

Here is this week's as well, sure I may as well give it a shameless plug!

Huge thanks to this week's ThreeTuneTuesday devotees in no particular order @cmplxty @por500bolos @coquicoin @tengolotodo @captainquack22 @blanchy @sagesigma and @blackdaisyft for taking time to share their tunes with our community here on Hive. That's another juicy week folks with a sizeable 30 tunes added to our collective playlists and ear holes - thanks to @blanchy and @por500bolos for the bonus tuneage.
Hive Basic Income
Again for the benefit of new readers, are you new to Hive? Are you struggling to get support on those first posts of yours? Have you come back to Hive recently and are struggling in a similar fashion? If so, I would advise you to keep an eye out for competitions that offer you Hive Basic Income shares. These give you guaranteed upvotes from @steembasicincome, @sbi1, @sbi2, @sbi3, @sbi4, @sbi5, @sbi6, @sbi7, @sbi8, @sbi9 etc and the more shares that you have the higher their upvotes. Simples...
It is a win win situation too for the person sharing the shares, as the person sharing them also gets a share of HBI for each one they share with someone else - what's not to like about this model. You get rewarded for being kind to someone else, in fact it is like a microcosm of what the Hive blockchain actually is from a curation perspective too.
The Tunes
As I said above, we're tipping the scales (see what I done there) with 27 tunes this week, which is class. Right so, speaking of tunes, let's get down to it.
I will get things going with none other than @blackdaisyft who always knows how to cook up three quality tracks and this week she brings me on a lovely trip down memory lane to listen to a band I have not listened to in a good while, but a band who are brilliant, haunting, inspiring - who am I talking about, scroll to the tunes to find out.
I always look forward to see what @sagesigma puts on the musical menu for the week and as usual he doesn't disappoint bringing us some post shoegaze hits from M83, Deerhunter and Astrobite. He also gives us a great description of shoegaze "It's ethereal and classical...I dare say like an overdubbed orchestra on top of Wilson harmonies."
@blanchy is looking for songs to run to and brings us three of those including an absolute banger from one of favorite recent Irish breakthrough bands, as well as rap song recommended to him personally by Paul Pogba and finishing off with a band I had not heard of, but really like on first listen, really chilled and funky, kind Cafe Del Maresque if you will.
Last week's winner @captainquack22 is all about the metal this week, and it is a genre as I always say that I don't know much about, but I'm learning each week when you guys throw in the metal tunes, I really enjoyed these lads shredding their guitars.
@tengolotodo is mad about football and is a big Rangers fan. His Three Tune Tuesday offering this week is a touching tribute to Rangers kitman and former bus driver Jimmy Bell. Here he chooses three songs with Bell in the name to remember his team's kitman, which is a really nice thought and three cracking tunes too it must be said.
@coquicoin again shares tunes in a language other than English, which is fantastic and brings many of us something new and something different. These songs are old songs made famous in the 1930s and 40s by Agustín Lara, but he shares a modern interpretation of them by the talented and beautiful Natalia Lafourcade.
@por500bolos brings us a fine quartet of latin inspired tunes this week, the first of which I will bet money that you have never heard before, as this one has a mere 365 views on Youtube, one for every day of the year, go check em out.
@cmplxty brings us Electronic dance music this week and some bangers
Right, grab your headphones - Here is a flavour of this week's tunes.
Portishead - Roads from @blackdaisyft
M83 - Run Into Flowers @sagesigma
Fontaines D.C. - Sha Sha Sha from @blanchy
DRAGONFORCE - THROUGH THE FIRE AND FLAMES from @captainquack22
AC/DC - Hells Bells from @tengolotodo
Natalia Lafourcade - Maria Bonita from @coquicoin
Tito on Timbales from @por500bolos
Keys N Krates - Dum Dee Dum from @cmplxty
Now for the hardest part and that is picking out a winner and with nine great entries it wasn't easy, but after much deliberation I am going to give it to last week's honourable mention @coquicoin who again brought us something a bit different this week with the gorgeous voice of Natalia Lafourcade singing some songs from back in the day.
Well done.
Proof
10% of the $2.17 payout is $0.217, and I could round it up to 0.5 Hive Basic Income, but 1 HBI has a far nicer ring to it and as an extra bonus @blanchy volunteered to match the contribution this week too, so big thanks to @blanchy for that and well done again to @coquicoin.
