Dublin Zoo
When we lived on the opposite coast of Ireland, we were regulars at the local zoo and indeed we were annual pass holders, so we us ed to go every second month usually.
The photos below are from a more recent visit when we travelled up from Galway.
The giraffes in the African Plains were always a big favourite with our boys.
Orangutan
You can't go wrong with the primates at the zoo as far I'm concerned. Whether it's the monkeys, the gorillas or the orangutans, they're always a bit of craic and are generally getting up to some sort of mischief, especially the infants!
More photos
Here are a few more photos from around the zoo, starting off with this lovely Rhino calf and Mammy.
Then there were the Wolves.
They were even doing circus tricks 🎪 😁
The Lemars are always a highlight and are always up to some messing or shenanigans.
Then there's the Okapi. Hands up who's heard of these guys before 👀 👀 👀
Yep zero hands up, just as I thought 😂
There were the Gorillas too.
More giraffes here.
And another photo of the African Plains a favourite spot of ours at the zoo.
Zebras are a great addition and they are in with the giraffes in the African Plains.
The Rhinos also live in their, luckily for them all the Lions live elsewhere in the zoo!
