A decent bit of snow
As I was saying yesterday we've had an exceptionally mild autumn this year. That ended a few days ago and it was officially long Johns weather!
The auld weather took a turn and those temperatures tumbled down to zero and the night before last we got a good covering of snow.
That means the kids will be busy making a snowman and the following photos show what they came up with. A decent effort from my boys aged 6, 8 and 11.
They decided he'd be a Celtic supporting snowman. They had choices from Arsenal, Newcastle, Celtic and Ireland, as those are the scarves we had.
Do you like his hat? I do. But herself was not so happy with it, as it is one of her hats. Ooooops. Well the scarf was mine, so I figured that was fair.
If you look closely, he's actually a dead ringer for Scott Brrrrrrrown. Ha ha
This is him after scoring the winner against Rangers!
We didn't get as much snow as they did further out into Conamara where plenty of snow fell as you can see from the photos below.
I like a bit of snow, but unfortunately because of the snow and in impending storm, there will be no soccer training or matches tomorrow for my boys.
I guess it's not the end of the world though and the sleep in will be quite nice actually, qs I'm going out on the piss with some friends tonight. For those who dont know the term "out on the piss", it means lots of these! It's 6pm start too, so could be a big night 🥴😵😵💫🤒
Creamy creamy pints of Arthur Guinness's finest stout.
Sure ya couldn't bate it with a stick!
