The summer heat arrived prematurely this year, if you ask me... I mean, we had plenty of rainy days, and we somehow needed some proper summer temperatures, but it's too much for June. Constant 30+ degrees Celsius is insane already.
Can't fight the weather, especially when it's engineered, right...
Anyway, I have a friend who owns a nice guest house by the Danube, and he had to go there to do some maintenance at the pool, and he took me along. Now, despite the heat outside, you can't imagine the cool temperature inside.
The guest house is called "The House With Figs" because, guess what, they have figs there, as you'll see in the following pictures, but aside from the figs, there's something else that I love about that place.
There are lots of flowers, greenery all around, and plenty of antiques as decorations. You know I like to photograph old stuff, so I couldn't say no to a photo shoot of some of the decorations my friend has over there.
Now I'm back at home, waiting for the heat to subside so I can go out fishing. The fishing season has started, and it would be a shame not to catch one or two. Time to log out now, I hope you'll enjoy the pictures I took today, and see you all tomorrow.
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
