Gosh, that is awful to lose so many trees @ablaze, but as you say we are 'paying for the sins of our fathers', and the current generation as well, right?

Ya that's the sad truth of it, we are not handing over a very promising outlook and planet to our children. Maybe their generation will finally say enough is enough...
It's why I am so anti Nuclear too, leaving radioactive waste for future generations is so selfish in my opinion.
