RE: Perhaps my best photos of this sunbird.

I am glad to see that you arrived safely, and please remember to do some work every now and then up there !LOLZ

I will try my best, but you know how two love birds are! Just kidding, we are both in critical stages of the study phase so we will work hard! We are lucky enough to go to the Kruger a bit over the long weekend, so then we will rest a bit! I hope all is well in the cold-wet Cape!

You guys really remind me of us, as we also did our Bcom degrees together. Marian went on to do the honors, but I had enough, as it is very tiresome. So, I know that you guys will work hard and you must enjoy the long weekend at the Kruger.
All is well here, and we are nearing the end of winter, as only one month to go !LOLZ

I see that there is more rain coming your way! Brace yourselves, as I am sure we will appreciate the warmer weather as it arrives.

Same here, but @urban.scout methinks will stop as soon as possible! Academia is not for her, as we have talked a bit on this topic. But she will study as far as it is beneficial for her career. Me on the other hand, I will study until I cannot if I could haha. The professional (or professor) student.

Yep, all wet here now, and thankfully we know that summer is on its way !LOLZ

So, the roles are reversed, as I am the same as @urbanscout, and Marian is the same as you when it comes to studying. I do really hope that you will make it to the professor stage someday.

Oh no, and I see there is some more bad weather for tomorrow (Tuesday). I also see the dams are full and some are actually breaking (more of the smaller ones on farms I presume).

Oh yes, that is the goal. If I get the job in academia or if I do something on my own, I am sure I will end up as one! I spent too much intellectual and cognitive attention and willpower to not make it work.

Oh yes, difficult times here and the dam walls were in the Malmesbury area.

Good that you will continue, but I consider a private practice to be better, as then you call the shots. So just continue banging away.

For sure, that is the plan I am working towards, opening a private practice. There are some talks about training other practitioners, hopefully I can get a cut from that as well. Overseas, the going rates are from R1,000 per session to R23,000-R40,000 for a year course (per person). If we can establish something like that here in South Africa it would not only be the first, but it might also help many other people find joy and work as well! Big dreams, now we just need to make the dream materialise.

This sounds very good, and I am sure that there will be a market for it. But dream that is not clothed in action, will always remain to be just a dream. So get at it and try your best.
