For this occasion, I bring you this exhibition of images, where I take a virtual journey. Each scene is a sample of different living and non-living motifs shown from a black and white perspective. I sought to compose in harmony, using contrast, texture, and, in part, the different elements in the scenes, from some antennas contrasting with a fragment of a building, or, to take a look at the first photograph, which shows the silhouettes of tree frogs but, in the foreground, two small birds against the light. Also, the characterization of some images where shadows play a vital role in the composition.
These are all details that I often find in the city, details perhaps forgotten by many, but in my case, I take the time to emphasize those details. These details are also embellished by the contrast of black and white, just as a perspective is created, unlike if we see them in color. However, they are nonetheless traces and shapes of photographic compositions.
It's a visual journey through those environments that hold subjects of certain interest, whether for these photographs, or well, that's what I usually think when taking any type of photograph, where the main subjects can be simple objects outside of those subjects, where human elements are present and important in the composition.
All photographs are my own.
